The Service Dog Uniform
Depending on the purpose of the Service Dog, depending on the size of the dog, etc etc., the 'uniform' of the dog varies tremendously! There are guide harnesses and pulling harnesses and support harnesses. And there are capes of all sorts of materials, sizes, and slogans. Then there are the collars and the leashes and that stuff. Then there are backpacks of course.
This site has a page of product reviews (toys, bowls, etc);
a page for photos of that product being used;
and a page of links for various equipment.Now, a word of warning: Purchasing and using Service Dog identifying patches or printed capes on a pet dog to gain access with that dog is ILLEGIAL AND IMMORAL. It is a Federal Crime, punishable by a fine and/or imprisonment. In other words, don't buy a "Service Dog" patch and cape and put it on Fluffy so that you and Fluffy can go to the grocery store together unless Fluffy is a Service Dog. Having a Service Dog is not a privilege, it is a Civil Right.
Have you got a photo of your Service Dog wearing equipment that you love or that you hate? Send it to me along with a review and I will put it here.
